Puerto Morelos is the home of a protected coral reef. We often went snorkelling without needing to take a boat out to the reef.
Sometimes, I needed, or should I say, we needed time out from the intense sunshine. There really weren’t many shady corners in the yard and even less if we wandered through the magical town. Reading on my tablet when I am not writing was a go-to option for both of us.
Eventually, it was time to go home to Canada where it was still winter.
