It’s Friday and we are at the beginning of what is promised to be a two-week long heat wave. Clothing will be worn only when absolutely necessary. This morning, I used my extension pruner to take down branches that either were pressing down on a power line, or the clothes line. This afternoon, I will be taking the branches to our landfill which is about five kilometres from town. When that is done, I will be checking out the road and trail which leads to the hills where I normally go free-hiking.
I have just finished rescuing missing photos using my journals. For the most part, the images are of mediocre quality. Yet, that doesn’t disappoint me. It is the record that counts for me. I have decided to add to this site’s posts using posts from the past when I used an abandoned free account using WordPress.Com. It’s a deliberate action to reclaim the truth of what I have said and who I am. Whether or not I offend others doesn’t seem to be as great a concern as in the past. I am old and hiding is pointless.

As I said above, it’s hot. I am on the deck in my backyard, sitting at a round, metal table as I write this post. It is not quite noon and it is already 28 degrees Celsius. It is only going to get warmer before too long. Because it is sunny and warm, I will be taking time to sunbathe on the deck, probably before I make the run to the landfill.
Since I am just about 77 years old, I can take time to enjoy my life without rushing too much. I am lucky, as my wife is very tolerant of my penchant for being nude when there is no neighbours or visitors who might see me without my clothing. I take these small wins as moments of freedom.
How do you choose your time for clothing-free experiences. Leave a comment and a like for this post if you felt it was worth your time to stop by.
