It’s Cloudy and Windy in July

We have waited a long time for summer to arrive. May and June were windy, cool/cold, and wet with ten inches of rain – much more than the normal rainfall amounts. There hasn’t been any nude country walks or free-hikes because the dirt roads are still muddy. The forecast for today was for heat and sunshine. Here it is at noon and it is overcast and cool and very windy.

I got this photo a few days ago while I was trimming bushes in our front and back yard. Naturally, I wore shorts while working in the front yard. Unlike a couple of years ago, I don’t take many risks. Most of our elderly neighbours have vacated their homes which have been sold to South African farm workers. The neighbourhood is now busy with children and I don’t have a will for getting into legal trouble.

I have been busy with doing rescue of my old naturist images and posts. Why? The biggest reason is Microsoft and its cloud, OneDrive. I never did like Google Drive either. So, what was the major concern? Well, it didn’t have its beginning with either. I misplace my backup flashdrive which has all of my remaining naturist images. So, I turned to my yearly journals which I have documented with most of the dates including an image where they existed. The journals were stored on my laptop and on OneDrive. When I went in search of journals for 2019-2023, they couldn’t be found. I searched external hard drives and various online storage location. Finally, I found them on my Sync cloud, a free Canadian cloud service.

Now, I am back in business of rescuing photos included in my saved daily journals on Word documents. It’s a tedious process, but if I never find my missing flash drive, it will be worth the effort.

So, why are these images so important to me? I don’t really have an answer. They aren’t flattering and they will likely have my children and grandchildren be shocked that I have spent so much of my time clothing free, let alone having photographic proof. Yet, it is important to me as it tells an authentic story of this old, irrational unicorn of a man.

Since you are reading this post, I assume you are interested in naturism or nudism. Do you have your own collection of “self” images? If so, why? And, how do you store them? Please take the time to like this post and leave a comment.
