I took this photo from the fourth floor of a building on the main campus of C.I.T, the floor where the Foreign Affairs Offices (FAO) are located. \u00a0in the distant background are the two towers of Changzhou City Hall. \u00a0On the middle left-hand side is the gymnasium for C.I.T. \u00a0On the middle right-hand side is the building where most classes are held for students taking English courses. \u00a0This is also the building where we have our “meetings” when they are deemed necessary. \u00a0Of the seven FTs teaching at C.I.T., five teach at the main campus.<\/p>\n

Just a note, Maureen and I don’t teach in this building as we only teach on the XinBei campus.<\/p>\n

Maureen and I have finished today’s classes – yes, we both taught at the same time though in different buildings on the Xin Bei campus. \u00a0Behind Maureen is the campus library. \u00a0Since our campus has less than half of the students at the main campus, we don’t have a gymnasium though we do have a decent track and outdoor sport venues.<\/p>\n

The Xin Bei Campus is the newer of the two campuses, and has the best atmosphere. \u00a0Sadly, both campuses will disappear in a few years. \u00a0The idea is to relocate to the outskirts of the city where land prices are cheaper. \u00a0Because of the prime location, the university can’t afford to keep the campuses in their present location. \u00a0Money talks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
