Well, here goes a new attempt at travel blogging.\u00a0 If all works as well as I anticipate, there will be fewer bugs to deal with as compared to Planet Ranger.\u00a0 What bugs?\u00a0 Well, loading photographs sometimes had to be done several times as glitches kept sabotaging the uploads.\u00a0 Second glitch was the slowness of the Planet Ranger service.\u00a0 Third was the inability to link photos and posts together, it was either\/or with usually most skipping the blog in favour of the photos (not that this wasn’t what I would have done as well).\u00a0 And most annoying, the way comments were almost impossible to link to a blog entry.\u00a0\u00a0 WordPress might be able to solve all of these issues for me.\u00a0 Will it make it a better experience for you?\u00a0 You will have to decide and let me know through your comments here on the website.\u00a0 Just click on “comment” and tell me what you think.<\/p>\n

Now, many of you may or may not know that we are headed off to a small fishing village called Chuburna in sunny Mexico.\u00a0 Where is Chuburna?\u00a0 Well, it is located in the same area of Mexico as Cancun.\u00a0 Chuburna is in the Mexican province of Yucatan on the sea coast to the west of the thriving community of Progreso which is a Caribbean Cruise Tour\u00a0stop.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is the villa we rented, as it was advertised on the Internet by Vacation Rentals By Owners (VRBO).<\/p><\/div>\n

The villa is on the beach that stretches all the way to Progreso before continuing on eastwards for another long way.\u00a0 The villa has two bedrooms and is fully furnished and equipped.\u00a0 Yes, this includes a television and high speed Internet access.\u00a0 Of course, there will be more to show you\u00a0when we are actually in the villa.<\/p>\n

In the map above, you will notice a lot of Mayan ruin sites noted with most of them in Yucatan province.\u00a0 We do hope to get to visit a fair number of them as well as the capital city of Merida.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Of course, the beach and the water will be attractive enough to take up a lot of our time, especially since it provides a lot of walking space.<\/p>\n
