On the road to X'combo, we found a locked gate which then lead us to visit the next village to the south which had an old 16th century cathedral still in operation. waiting.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">About a dozen people were in a butcher shop on the edges of the town square.\u00a0 Most were carefully choosing their meat purchase, examining each strip of meat before settling on a particular section.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_214\" style=\"width: 280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-214\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Busy at work even though it is only 7:30 in the morning.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Once we finished walking around the square we decided to head into the village to see how and where the people lived.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_215\" style=\"width: 280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a didn&#8217;t expect to see a fishing culture.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">It became obvious to us that this place was a lot poorer.\u00a0 So many of the homes were made of piled stones with straw and palm leaf thatched roofs.\u00a0 Some of the homes had electricity, but many didn&#8217;t.\u00a0 Of course we saw some upscale homes, homes made of solid walls that we have come to think of as the Mexican casa.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">\n<div id=\"attachment_216\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a recent hunt.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\">As we wandered down the streets we saw beautiful flowers, birds as well as the stone fenced small properties with huts, homes and sheds behind to the square in hopes of being able to visit the cathedral.\u00a0 Just as we approached the cathedral, we saw an older man opening the doors.\u00a0 It was eight in the
