  1. Hillman was something of a younger brother to Carl. Yet Hillman was unfettered by the restrictions of C.G.’s relationship and rivalry wih Freud, the reductivism of the young science’s boundaries, necessary to safeguard its own validity, yet avidly expressive of a poet’s obsessive quest to make acquaintance with the pneumatic Self. Who will take up his mantle? As of yet, unknown. Your pantheon awaits.
