I have been listening to a number of different Jungian analysts as they were interviewed by David Van Nuys, Dr. Dave as he is called on the show, Shrink Rap Radio. I have downloaded a number of the podcasts of the interviews between Dr. Dave and various men and women who are at the centre of the current state of Jungian psychology. Last night I listened to Nancy Furlotti talk about the Red Book, James Hollis talk about The Stories of the Middle Passage, and Jerry Ruhl talk about Robert Johnson and the Unlived Life.
Shrink Rap Radio is not just about Jungian psychology. Dr. Dave has more than 280 interviews over a number of years on all sorts of topics that are of interest for psychologists, students, and those who are simply interested for personal reasons. I encourage anyone who is interested to check out the web site and listen in on topics of interest.
A recent comment to this site from John Ferric included an attachment that I will include here, an article by Wolfgang Giegerich – The End of Meaning and the Birth of Man. Click on the link and you can read the essay. I will be talking about some of the ideas here in response to John Ferric’s comments and questions.
